What happens if we have ordered the wrong size?

The sizes are for guidance purposes to ensure the Local CHX team have a selection of equipment close to your request in order to provide further options, if necessary, on arrival. Their vehicles are well stocked, but in the unlikely event that they don’t have something else onboard that’s ‘just right’, they can come back later (the shops only a short drive away).

What happens if we have a problem with the equipment midweek?

With well-maintained and fitted equipment, such problems are a rarity, but in the unlikely event a problem does materialise (boots not quite the right fit for example), you can either pop into the Local CHX shop in Chamonix or their team will pop out to you at ski in ski out Chalet No.5. As you prefer really  –  It’s all part of the service and price quoted.

How do we take them back to the shop at the end of our holiday?

You don’t have to, unless you want to. The team at Local CHX will collect them at ski in ski out Chalet No.5 – please just agree a time with them for collection when someone will be at the chalet accordingly. Please note, Local CHX ask that all equipment is ready for collection in the Ski Room by 6pm at ski in ski out Chalet No.5 on the last day of your ski / snowboard rental period.

How do I pay for the rental equipment – do I have to go to the shop?

Payment can be made remotely so no need to visit the ski shop to make payment. Payment details are requested when booking in order to hold your equipment. You will therefore need a valid Visa, Mastercard, or Debit Card when ordering online (with sufficient funds to cover the rental costs).

Is this part of my ski chalet holiday price and package?

No, the price of your ski chalet excludes ski and snowboard rental and ski passes too (regardless of the chalet package that you choose). The contract and subsequent terms and conditions will also be with Local CHX and not us. Please therefore check their terms and conditions as the terms and policy may change from time to time (above information is correct to the best of our knowledge but is subject to change from time to time).
