Terms and Conditions

1. Booking

Bookings made with ChamonixExclusive.com must be accompanied by 20% deposit of the total holiday price. Reservations can only be confirmed on receipt of the full deposit.

The contract will take effect on receipt of the full deposit and ChamonixExclusive.com have issued confirmation of receipt of payment. The remaining balance is due 10 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Full payment will be required for bookings made within 10 weeks of your holiday.

In the event that the remaining balance is not received 10 weeks prior to your holiday start date, ChamonixExclusive.com will make reasonable endeavours to remind the client of monies due to expedite payment. Ultimately ChamonixExclusive.com reserve the right to cancel the booking without further reference to the client and in such cases the client shall forfeit any deposit paid.

2. Flights & Ferries

Flights or ferries ('carriers') are not included within the holiday price and as such is deemed to be the sole responsibility of the client. Carriers (flights and ferries) shown on this website are for information purposes only and ChamonixExclusive.com does not warrant their fitness for purpose in any form. No liability will exist between the client and ChamonixExclusive.com for any failure by a carrier to deliver the services contracted, including, but not exhaustive of late arrivals or departures.

3. Winter Transfers & Transport

For winter bookings, unless otherwise agreed, ChamonixExclusive.com will provide one return transfer to and from Geneva airport on Saturdays only for up to ten guests. For additional guests and transfers requested on other days (not Saturday) a charge will be applied.  For transfers to and from the airport where there are various arrival or departure times for the same booking ChamonixExclusive.com reserve the right to await all flight arrivals and / or transfer clients all together based on the earliest time of departure from the chalet, or charge an additional cost for multiple journeys.

Where the respective arrival and departure times of incoming and departing clients do not facilitate transportation by ChamonixExclusive.com conveniently, the incoming guests shall take priority and ChamonixExclusive.com will in such cases provide exclusive 'third party' transport for departing clients.

Whilst ChamonixExclusive.com will do everything possible to collect clients from Geneva at the most convenient time, collection cannot be guaranteed prior to 1pm on the arrival date. The transfer for guests departing from the chalet will take place no later than 10am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in writing and in such cases an additional charge will apply.

For clients booked on a Winter holiday with ChamonixExclusive.com chauffeur driven transport is provided at the start and end of the skiing day (excluding the staff day off). Transfers to lifts, crèche, or ski school will be undertaken at agreed times between 08:30hrs and 09:15 hrs in the morning, and 16:15hrs and 17:00hrs. One trip in the morning and one trip in the evening will be provided, at a time agreed by the consensus of the clients (within timeframes specified). Additional requirements for the driver, such as on staff day off, late evenings or day trips may be provided but at an additional cost and this must be booked in advance.

In addition to point 10, ChamonixExclusive.com reserve the right to refuse to carry any client, at any time, whose behaviour may be inappropriate, as deemed by the staff of ChamonixExclusive.com, or is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol and could put their transportation, other clients, staff, or the property of ChamonixExclusive.com at risk. Any damage or cleaning that is a result of a client's inappropriate behaviour the full cost of rectification will be charged to the client. The minimum charge that shall apply in such an event shall be €100 (one hundred euros).

Children travelling in a vehicle must use the child restraint seats provided at all times. Clients must advise of any children requiring by law, or otherwise, a child restraint seat with your booking. ChamonixExclusive.com reserves the right to withhold transport for children in the event of not being notified and a child restraint seat not being available.

4. Insurance

Your booking does not include travel insurance. We strongly advise that all members of your party have the appropriate travel insurance in place prior to travelling.

5. Changing Your Booking

If you wish to make alterations to your booking after the contract is formed, we will seek to accommodate your request where it is reasonable to do so. Such changes are at the sole discretion of ChamonixExclusive.com.

6. Cancellation Of A Holiday By The Customer

If you choose to cancel your holiday you must do so in writing. The date of cancellation shall have taken effect when cancellation is received by ChamonixExclusive.com. The person submitting the booking form must authorise cancellation. Cancellation charges for the accommodation cost will be as follows:

Please note, that if your cancellation falls within your insurance policy terms, you may be able to reclaim any costs or charges.

7. Changes Made By www.ChamonixExclusive.com

Many holidays are booked well in advance of the arrival date, whilst we do everything possible to meet the requirements of our customers, specifications and descriptions detailed on the website, inevitably some changes do occur. We undertake to minimise such changes but reserve the right to make them as is necessary. In the event of a material change we will of course notify you and allow you to either; accept the change, purchase an alternative holiday from us, or cancel your holiday and receive a full refund.

8. Cancellation By www.ChamonixExclusive.com

In the unlikely event we have to cancel your holiday, all monies paid will be returned in full. Circumstances beyond our control do not include events amounting to 'force majeure' (such circumstances include riot, war, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports and adverse weather conditions).

9. Price Guarantee

Whilst we reserve the right to change our prices, your confirmation invoice price is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to change.

10. Behaviour

The customer must undertake to behave in such a manner as not to disrupt the enjoyment of other guests staying in the chalet or the residents and guests in surrounding chalets, or using transportation provided by ChamonixExclusive.com.

Guests being, or found to have been: rude, offensive, aggressive, swearing or acting inappropriately to a guest, a member of staff, or any person in the resort ChamonixExclusive.com reserve the right to terminate the holiday immediately without compensation. In such a case ChamonixExclusive.com will have no further obligation to them.

Any damages and breakages whether accidental or deliberate must be notified to ChamonixExclusive.com immediately and will be charged to the customer. Damages not notified to ChamonixExclusive.com will be subject to £100 administration fee on top of the replacement costs.

11. Winter Half Board

The winter half-board option includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. Free selected wines will be provided with dinner (may be restricted to a maximum of two bottles of wine per guest).

Half-board applies for 6 nights. The staff have one day off in the week. On staff day off a buffet breakfast and afternoon tea will be provided (set up the night before for self service), dinner is not included.

To ensure and maintain the enjoyment of all guests during the holiday, staff may refuse to serve alcohol to guests where a guest is considered to be unfit for further consumption of alcohol, or if the guests causes or has caused concern in respect of their behaviour under the influence. All guests are drawn to point 9 in respect of behaviour that applies.

12. No Smoking Policy

ChamonixExclusive.com operates a very strict no smoking policy. Smoking is not permitted inside the chalet or in the vicinity of entrance doors or windows. Guests may smoke in the gardens and patio areas providing the smoke does not enter the chalet, and that residue cigarette ends, cigars, or tobacco are removed and disposed of safely in the appropriate refuse bins. The holiday of any customer or party in breach of this clause may be terminated immediately and without compensation and ChamonixExclusive.com will have no further obligation to them.

13. Pets

Pets are not allowed in or around the chalet.

14. Arrival, Departure Times & Condition Of Chalet On Departure

The chalet and rooms will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival.
The chalet must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure to enable cleaning for incoming guests. The chalet should be left in a good condition. Where the chalet is left in a condition that requires additional cleaning, over and above what would be normally expected, ChamonixExclusive.com reserve the right to charge costs, including administration, for the additional service requirement.

15. Complaints

Whilst we take all reasonable care to ensure that your holiday with us is an enjoyable one, from time to time complaints may arise. If you have a complaint please inform the ChamonixExclusive.com resort representative immediately who will endeavour to resolve the problem. If you are unable to contact the resort representative or do not get a satisfactory conclusion, you should contact the help number immediately on 00 33 450 91 99 34.

16. Liability

ChamonixExclusive.com accepts no responsibility for the acts or omissions of its clients, whether negligent or otherwise, and shall not be held liable for any claims made against them.

17. Visas

It is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport and any visa as necessary before travelling. Non EU Passport holders should note that the local airport, Geneva , is not an EU member.

18. Website

The information contained on our website is correct to the best of our knowledge, but should not be relied on and may be subject to alteration.

19. Law & Jurisdiction

These conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed in all respects by French Law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in France.
