Today marks the last day of the 2017/18 Chamonix ski and snowboard season here at ski in ski out Chalet No.5 in the Chamonix Valley, as we say goodbye to our delightful and final guests of the season. It’s no reflection on the snow as many of you know, with some great skiing and snowboarding to be had across the valley and on the Grands Montets which will remain open into May. For the ski in ski out Chamonix Exclusive team it is time to take a well earned break (but should you wish to still visit Chamonix this season we would of course be happy to recommend alternative chalets and hotels that remain open).
Season endings for the Chamonix Exclusive team are always an emotional day. Of course after over 4 months at the helm, the team will appreciate a chance to recharge the batteries, but with a tinge of sadness as the ski seasons draws to a close is nevertheless inevitable. Reflections on a great Chamonix ski and snowboard season with such wonderful guests will lay long in the heart. A 94.75% occupancy a telling testament to the season’s success along with so many highly satisfied clients (thank-you for your kind comments throughout the season). With 8 months before we welcome our next Chamonix ski and snowboard guests we are missing this year’s guests already!
The above said, the Chamonix Summer is something to behold and we will therefore be soon looking forward to the next exciting period in the calender. In fact already the warm sunshine that we expect to enjoy, May through to the end of September, feels like it is just around the corner. We have already started to turn our sights to the Summer activities and mix our skiing and snowboarding days with all the other exciting spring and Chamonix Summer activities that we are lucky enough able to enjoy here.
